Travel by coach to Alpnachstad. From Alpnach to the Pilatus. Opened in 1889, a 48 percent incline, a journey time of around 30 minutes: the world's steepest cogwheel railway in figures. It climbs meter by meter from Alpnachstad to Pilatus Kulm, past blooming Alpine meadows and striking rock formations. Let your soul dangle on Mount Pilatus. Enjoy the breathtaking mountain panorama at 2132 meters above sea level and, if you wish, an aperitif or coffee and croissants for your group. Dragon Ride. A cockpit-like cabin structure, floor-to-ceiling windows and plenty of space – the “Dragon Ride” cable car gives you the feeling of flying. The Dragon Ride cable car will take you from Pilatus Kulm to Fräkmüntegg in three and a half minutes, with breathtaking views in all directions. Tobogganing fun and speed are on the menu on Switzerland's longest summer toboggan run, which is 1350 meters long. Numerous steep curves, dragon holes and built-in jumps make every toboggan ride an unforgettable experience. Afterwards, a leisurely 25-minute walk will take you to the Alpgschwänd. Enjoy an idyllic lunch at the Alpgschwänd mountain restaurant with a beautiful view of Lake Lucerne. After lunch, take the gondola lift to Hergiswil. The fireboat MS Rolling Home is waiting for you here. Finally, enjoy a cruise on Lake Lucerne.
