    If you are unable to travel, you must inform us in writing. The date on which we receive your cancellation is decisive for calculating the cancellation costs. The cancellation costs can be found in our General Terms and Conditions of Contract and Travel. As there are usually charges for changes and rebookings, please contact us on: 062 296 12 61

  • Can I reserve seats at the time of booking?

    Can I reserve seats at the time of booking?

    The procedure for reserving seats varies depending on the journey.

    • For day trips, Christmas markets and concert tours, seat reservations are possible for a fee of CHF 5 per seat per day.
    • For holiday trips of 3 days or more, seat reservations are free of charge.
       

    For online bookings, you can enter your wishes in the "Message" field.

    Price differences for children, young people and adults are shown for individual offers. If no children's discount is shown, please call or use the contact form to find out about the relevant children's discount.

  • Can I travel with my wheelchair/walking aids?

    Can I travel with my wheelchair/walking aids?

    The transport of a foldable wheelchair or walking aids and other aids is free of charge with us. These aids are stowed in the luggage compartment. Our special bus with wheelchair lift for people with disabilities is used on some journeys. Please contact us on 062 296 12 61 to check the transport options and if you have any questions regarding the carriage of assistance dogs or accompanying persons

    We offer free parking for the duration of your journey. Select the boarding point when you register: Olten, Haslistrasse 51 (Carhalle)

Being on board

  • Do I have to wear my seatbelt on the bus?

    Do I have to wear my seatbelt on the bus?

    Yes, since 2006, car passengers in Switzerland have also had to wear their seat belts, and anyone who fails to do so can be fined.

  • Can I smoke on the coach?

    Can I smoke on the coach?

    No, smoking is not permitted on board our coaches. However, sufficient smoking breaks are always planned.

  • Is my coach equipped with a toilet?

    Is my coach equipped with a toilet?

    All our coaches have a toilet on board (except minibuses with up to 16 seats). This is for emergency use only. Short toilet breaks can be taken after consultation with the driver.

  • How are the coaches equipped?

    As standard, our coaches are equipped with seat belts, adjustable comfort seats, microphone, refrigerator, coffee machine, toilet*, air conditioning, radio / DVD. *(except minibuses up to 16 seats)

  • How much is an appropriate tip?

    In relation to the responsibility and attendance time, a coach driver has a modest salary. If, in your opinion, the chauffeur has done a good job, it is still customary in our industry to honour the chauffeur with a tip for his competent service.

  • Am I insured in the event of an accident with the coach?

    Am I insured in the event of an accident with the coach?

    Yes, in the event of an accident, you are covered by the vehicle's liability insurance.

  • Is my luggage insured?

    Is my luggage insured?

    Luggage (suitcases, travel bags, etc.) is only insured against theft from the boot of the coach. Items that have been stolen from the passenger compartment (handbags, cameras, valuables, passports/papers, etc.) are not insured. We also cannot accept any liability for items outside the car.

  • Do I need child seats in the coach?

    Do I need child seats in the coach?

    According to Road Traffic Regulations Art. 3a Para. 4 VRV, no child restraint devices (child seats, buckets) are required in coaches for children aged 4 and over. If you are travelling with children under the age of 4, you must bring suitable child seats with you on the journey. Please note that coaches are equipped with lap belts. Child seats that need to be secured with three-point belts cannot be fastened in coache

    Have you lost an item on the bus? It is quite possible that we have already found it. Please call us the next working day on 062 296 12 61 or use our contact form. If your item has been found, you can collect it from our office.

    You can do this via our contact form. We rely on your feedback and suggestions of any kind so that we can continue to develop and improve. Positive feedback can also help us to improve the travel experience. This is the only way we can become better and increase the satisfaction of our guests.

Payment

  • Can I pay with REKA cheques?

    Can I pay with REKA cheques?

    When booking a package holiday, you can pay 50% of the total amount, up to a maximum of CHF 400 p/person, with Reka Money. Please send your cheques by registered mail to: Born Reisen AG, Aarauerstrasse 114, 4600 Olten. We accept no liability for lost consignments.

    You are also welcome to hand in your cheques directly at our office at Aarauerstrasse 114 in Olten.

  • Can I pay by credit card?

    Currently, we do not accept card payments. However, if you wish, we can send you an invoice before the trip. Please just let us know in the message field.
