Excursion to the Creux du Van, a marvel of nature. Lunch at the "Ferme Soliat" not far from the breathtakingly beautiful rock cauldron.
Itinerary
Excursion by coach to the Creux du Van. The huge rock arena with a diameter of more than one kilometre was formed over millions of years by the erosion of water and ice. Imposing vertical rock faces over 160 metres high surround a deep basin. The terrain offers a spectacular 360-degree panoramic view over the lakes of the Central Plateau, the Alps, the Jura valleys and France. Before we reach today's destination, we stop for coffee and croissants en route. After lunch, there is still enough time to enjoy the impressive view. There are also ibex and chamois to watch!
