ANDREW LLOYD WEBBER'S PHANTOM OF THE OPERA, based on the classic novel "Le Fantôme de L'Opéra" by Gaston Leroux, is set in the glorious Paris of the 1930s and tells the story of a musical genius known only as "The Phantom" who haunts the depths of the Paris Opera.
The Phantom is fascinated by the talents and beauty of the young soprano Christine. He lures her to him and falls madly in love with her. However, the phantom knows nothing of Christine's love for Raoul, and his obsession is the catalyst for a dramatic development in which jealousy, madness and passion collide.
With 100 participants including a live orchestra as well as breathtaking stage sets, special effects and more than 230 costumes, the spectacle contains some of Andrew Lloyd Webber's most famous and thrilling pieces of music, such as "The Phantom of the Opera", "Think of Me" and "Music of the Night".
