Spend a day in picturesque Graubünden, enjoy a delicious lunch and learn more about the art of cheese making.
In the morning we set off for a coffee stop in Weesen on Lake Walsen. Freshly fortified, you will travel over the Julier Pass to Silvaplana. There you will be served delicious pizzoccheri. This is a traditional pasta dish made from buckwheat and wheat flour, which is typically prepared with potatoes and cheese. In the afternoon, the journey continues to the Morteratsch Glacier. After a short walk (5 minutes) we reach the alpine cheese dairy. There you can watch the cheese being made and then fortify yourself with a coffee and a piece of cake. Now we start our journey home again. Stop for a drink at the Niederurnen service station on the way.
