Day 1: Arrival

Early departure from the Olten region. Travel via Basel - Karlsruhe - Heidelberg - Montabaur to Cologne. Check-in at the Maritim Hotel and free time in the city.

Day 2: Cologne (Starlight Express)

Individual exploration of the million-strong city of Cologne. The old town with its many shops invites you to an extensive shopping tour. A typical Kölsch lunch is a must. There are various museums waiting to be discovered. If you are looking for some relaxation, the hotel’s wellness area with a swimming pool (06:00-23:00) and sauna (16:00-22:00) is at your disposal.

Excursion to Bochum (Starlight Express) For those who have booked the excursion to Bochum, departure is at 16:00. Arrival in Bochum around 17:30. Individual dinner, the Starlight Express show begins at 20:00. Return to Cologne to the Maritim Hotel.

Day 3: Return Trip

Enjoy a hearty breakfast buffet one more time. Departure back to Switzerland at 11:00, returning around 19:00.

Maritim Hotel Cologne

The ****Maritim Hotel is located between Cologne's city center and the Rhine promenade at Heumarkt. The walk to the Cathedral through the city is just 1 km. Various attractions are in the immediate vicinity. The rich breakfast buffet is served in the hotel’s Rôtisserie restaurant. If desired, you can also have dinner in the restaurant. The Piano Bar invites you for a cozy nightcap. The Maritim Hotel features a swimming pool as well as a sauna and steam bath. (Swimming pool hours: 06:00-23:00, sauna: 16:00-22:00)
