Itinerary

Day 1: Travelling to Alba

Travel via Bern - Great St Bernard - Aosta - Nus (lunch in a typical Italian restaurant) - Tortona - Alessandria - Asti - Alba. Experience Alba, which is particularly famous for its delicious ‘Tartufi bianchi’. We get to know Alba, our overnight stay, better during a guided tour of the town. We enjoy dinner in the panoramic restaurant on the roof terrace of the **** hotel and bring the day to a close.

Day 2: Tenda Pass - Côte d'Azur

After a hearty breakfast, we leave Alba and continue to the spa town of Limone Piemonte at the foot of the Tenda Pass. The journey over the Tenda Pass and through the Roya Gorge cannot be described, it has to be experienced! We cross the border into France in Ventimiglia and cycle along the popular Côte d'Azur through the towns of Menton, Monte Carlo, Nice (free lunch stop) and Cannes. Enjoy the view! Now we leave the coastal road and take the Route Napoléon, which Napoléon followed on his return from Elba, to Grasse. Here we visit the Fragonard perfume factory and have the opportunity to buy one of these fine fragrances at first hand. In Castellane we spend the second night in a very nice *** hotel and enjoy a delicious dinner.

Day 3: Journey home

After breakfast we continue along the Route Napoléon to Grenoble - Champéry and Aix-les-Bains. We cross the border in Geneva and enjoy the marvellous landscape along the beautiful Lake Geneva. Unfortunately, our eventful journey soon comes to an end, but we have many wonderful memories in our luggage.
