The afternoon is at leisure: Stroll through the town or walk along the lakeside promenade. Dinner at the hotel.
After breakfast, we drive to Postojna to visit the world-famous Postojna Caves - the largest cave system in Europe. Experience the impressive underground formations and the majestic heights of the karst. The journey then continues to Lipica, the home of the noble Lipizzaner horses, which have been bred here since 1580. See for yourself the grace of this unique breed of horse. We stop for lunch at a traditional restaurant in the region. Dinner at the hotel.
The return journey takes us through Friuli, past Padua, to Lake Garda and on to Milan. From there you will travel through the Gotthard tunnel back home.
