Travel by bus to Realp. Full steam ahead to Oberwald, over brick viaducts, through narrow tunnels, over the demountable Steffenbach bridge, past flower meadows. Marvel at the pioneering railroad achievements of our ancestors in the midst of a magnificent mountain landscape. The Furka-Bergstrecke (DFB) steam railroad runs between Realp (1420 m above sea level) in the Urseren Valley and Oberwald (1368 m above sea level) in Obergoms. The unforgettable adventure trip takes around two hours in carefully restored nostalgic trains between snow-covered mountain peaks over the Furka (2160 m above sea level) and past the enchanting Rhone Glacier. From Oberwald, continue by bus to the Grimsel Pass, where a delicious lunch awaits you at the Alpenrösli restaurant. Afterwards, explore the surrounding mountains. Visit the mineral museum or take a walk to the marmot park. Return by coach via Innertkirchen - Brünig to the departure point.

A walk through the Aare Gorge
The Aare Gorge between Meiringen and Innertkirchen is 200 meters deep and barely more than a meter wide at its narrowest point. The 1.4-kilometer-long adventure gorge can be hiked in about 40 minutes on secure walkways and through tunnels.
