Have you ever wondered how the salt gets on your plate? In the salt works Schweizerhalle and Riburg, you will learn everything about the extraction of the essential raw material and its processing.

Arrival by boat from Basel. The trip takes you through the city of Basel, into the Basel region and on to Rheinfelden in the Canton of Aargau. Enjoy the ever-changing scenery of town and country, nature and architecture, as well as the Rhine's historic buildings: the Birsfelden and Augst locks and the various freight ports. During the round trip, a tasty menu will be served in the ship's restaurant.
