Immerse Deeply into the Unique Nature While Hiking

The numerous hiking trails on the Sonnenplateau offer a true nature experience. Absolutely unique in the Alpine region is the extensive, well-signposted network of paths, which has been awarded the Bergwege-Gütesiegel (Mountain Trails Quality Seal) by the state of Tyrol. While the summit tours lead advanced hikers and professionals to the highest points of the region and reward them with breathtaking views, families immerse themselves in enchanting mixed and coniferous forests during leisurely hikes, stroll past colorful flower meadows, or explore mystical gorges. Even children can enjoy comfortable hikes, such as to the Brunschkopf. Where the forest opens up, there is an observation platform that offers a spectacular panoramic view: At the feet of the hikers lies the town of Seefeld, behind it the peaks of the Karwendel Mountains. In good weather, the Wetterstein Range with the Zugspitze can be seen on the left side, and on the right side, the horizon and the glacier on the Olperer - a unique natural spectacle. As one of the top 100 golf courses worldwide, the 18-hole Seefeld-Wildmoos course at 1,300 meters is a true gem among golf courses. A pleasant side effect of the altitude: golf balls fly about 10 percent farther here than at sea level. The 9-hole Seefeld-Reith golf course with its Golf Academy is ideal for beginners and also offers children's training. The covered driving range allows for golfing fun even in the rain.

For those who prefer not to explore the Olympiaregion Seefeld on foot or want to get around faster, there are hundreds of kilometers of cycling and mountain biking trails available. Various difficulty levels offer absolute cycling fun in the alpine natural landscape, from families to professional cyclists.
