As in previous years, we attended the MIO (trade fair in Olten) from 20-23 September 2019. We were able to present our company and our products in beautiful weather. For the first time, it was possible to book trips and day trips directly at our stand with a 10% discount. One of our new VDL double-decker cars was also there, which was of course a big attraction. Visitors were able to sit in it and marvel at the modern interior. We were delighted with the all-round positive feedback on the colour and equipment of the bus! There was also a photo campaign for children and young-at-heart adults on Saturday and Sunday. Anyone who wanted to could take a souvenir photo behind the wheel of the car. The campaign was very well received and we saw the children's eyes light up when we showed them the resulting photo. Who knows, maybe a future bus driver was already behind the wheel!
The 2019 MIO host region was the Unesco Biosphere Entlebuch. For this reason, we offered various trips to Entlebuch in October 2019 to get to know the region and its beauty. In cooperation, you could also take part in a competition at our stand and at the stand of the host region. You had to answer 3 short questions about the Entlebuch region with the help of our brochure. And with a bit of luck, you could win a free day trip to Entlebuch, a day's skiing in Marbachegg or Sörenberg or enjoy the view from the Brienzer Rothorn.
