EXPERIENCING NEW THINGS EVEN IN OLD AGE ASSOCIATION 60+ REGION AARAU

The 60 Plus Region Aarau association aims to promote togetherness and sociability among the over-60s living in the city and region of Aarau. The programme includes joint holidays and excursions - with Born Reisen.

From the age of 60, of course, you are by no means old, just a little longer in the world. However, at this age, you appreciate good organisation and know what you like and what you don't like. The 60 Plus Region Aarau association has around 450 members and aims to promote togetherness and sociability among the over-60s in the city and region of Aarau. One way of achieving this goal is by travelling together in Switzerland and neighbouring countries. Most trips last one or two days. Once a year, the association organises a holiday week. The best thing about these trips is when strangers become acquaintances or even friends. Breaking out of the daily routine is also good for body and mind. There may also be restrictions - for example in terms of mobility or diet. The organisers are aware of this and take it into account when planning the trip. Under the motto "together instead of alone", the 60 Plus Region Aarau association organises entertaining and interesting moments.

Knowing each other is important

The 60 Plus Region Aarau association has been travelling with Born Reisen for years. Preparation and organisation of the excursions go hand in hand and the cooperation with the coach drivers has long been a friendly tradition. They know each other and the needs of the guests. The trust of older people plays an important role, especially when travelling. That's why experience and familiarity are important. Thanks to the expert advice of Born Reisen, the excursions are unique and eventful.

The 60 Plus Region Aarau association is open to all senior citizens and welcomes every new member. The annual membership fee is CHF 40 and a general meeting is held every year to give members a say in the organisation. Comprehensive information is available on the website www.v60plus-aarau.ch.
